In March 2020, I founded Ads for Social Good at Vungle in response to (1) a global call from the UN and WHO and (2) charities struggling with donations during a pandemic. The campaign reached 87 million people across 50+ countries in 22 languages. Six years on, I'm reflecting on what it revealed about the structural gap in charitable advertising - and why generative AI is genuinely well-placed to close it.
